After breakfast leave for Kandy via Pinnawela. On the way, visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage and breeding ground for wild elephants. Visit the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, which is the largest of its kind in Sri Lanka. It is renowned for its vastly diverse collection of almost 300 species of orchids, and over 500 varieties of spices and medicinal plants housed in the National Herbarium which is attached to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Evening city tour of Kandy including Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha – by far the most important place of worship for Buddhists world over, Upper Lake drive a place where one could have a bird’s eye view of the city below. Conclude the evening by watching a cultural show with Kandyan Dancers and Drummers including a special act of fire-walking. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.
After enjoying breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En-route visit a Tea Factory. Have a warm cup of Ceylon Tea & experience the Tea trails. En-route visit the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda where, in the Ramayana, Rama’s army is said to have gathered to fight Ravana. Visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple Ramboda. Ramboda On these hills of Ramboda where Hanuman was searching for Setadevi. Lunch at an Indian Restaurant on the way to Nuwara Eliya. Visit Seetha Amman Temple & Ashoka Vathikai garden. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast at proceed to Kataragama via Ella. You will also visit Divurumpola Temple where Sita underwent a test to prove her chastity Visit Ravana Cave. En-route visit Ravana falls, Gayathri Peedam, etc. In the evening visit Kataragama Hindu Temple. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kataragama.
After breakfast at your hotel leave for Bentota via Ussangoda. En-route visit Ussangoda Beach. Ussangoda is one of the places that got fired after Rakshasas torched Hanumans’ tail. Which is also believed to be the Airport of King Ravana. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Bentota.
After breakfast at your hotel transfer to Colombo airport for departure. If time permits, En-route visit Anjaneyar Temple.
